Meet your ornithologist guide at the park entrance. You’ll receive an introduction to the birds of Souss-Massa National Park, a crucial stop for many migratory species. Your guide will explain the various species you’ll observe throughout the day, along with the park's unique features.

We begin the first stage of our tour with a 3-kilometer walk along the Massa River, leading to the estuary, a key spot for observing waterfowl. You’ll have the chance to see flamingos, ducks, wading birds, osprey, and migratory species that stop in this region every year. Your guide will explain the behavior of the birds and their role in the park’s ecosystem.

Lunch break and time for socializing to exchange and discuss the observations made during the morning.

In the afternoon, we will head towards the sandy and semi-desert regions of the park. You’ll have the opportunity to observe species adapted to these dry environments, such as the bald ibis, the black bellied sandgrouse, The Cream colored Courser, and the little owl. It will also be a chance to learn more about the conservation efforts in place to preserve these unique habitats.
