Birdwatching along the shores of the Massa lagoon

We begin the first stage of our tour with a 3-kilometer walk along the Massa River, leading to the estuary, a key spot for observing waterfowl. You’ll have the chance to see flamingos, ducks, wading birds, osprey, and migratory species that stop in this region every year. Your guide will explain the behavior of the birds and their role in the park’s ecosystem.

Lunch break and time for socializing to exchange and discuss the observations made during the morning.

Exploration of sandy and semi-desert areas

In the afternoon, we will head towards the sandy and semi-desert regions of the park. You’ll have the opportunity to observe species adapted to these dry environments, such as the bald ibis, the black bellied sandgrouse, The Cream colored Courser, and the little owl. It will also be a chance to learn more about the conservation efforts in place to preserve these unique habitats.

The last stage of our tour will be dedicated to observing songbirds, such as the Black crowned tchagra, Moussier's Redstart...
